Wow, everybody. I talked the talk but did not even make a step to walk it. I apologize to all of you who have been dying to get an update on my life and my blog, I solemnly swear that i'm up to no good, but I will post more often. So lets get on with the show!
Life has been AWESOME! For the most part. School is over and done with, I passed all of my classes, got to see family for christmas, oh yeah and IT WAS JUST CHRISTMAS! Talk about a good time. Going to Ohio normally sucks but this time was incredible. I'll post a blog later this week to talk about all my Christmas happenings. But passion is coming up and I'm stoked. For those who don't know Passion is a huge conference where college kids from around the states gather and worship God. Awesome worship and awesome teachings. Its gonna be swiggity sweet.
So lets focus on the big thing that happened to my family. On the night of my band's first show, I get a call that my little brother is being flown into children's hospital. After we play I go down there to see him and let me tell you, I was freaking out. My little brother is one of the most important people in my life. Besides being siblings, we're actually friends which most people can't say of their siblings. Anywho, I get down there and finally get in to see him and it was disgusting. Oh, didn't say what happened to him, he was in Piedmont MO, with some buddies playing flashlight tag and ran into a metal clothesline. Clotheslined by a clothesline. Classic. You know the scene from alien's vs. predators where the alien opens its mouth to hiss and those little pincers are sticking out? Kinda like that, his four front teeth were sticking out at 90 degree angle, kinda cool pretty gross. I knew he was mostly fine since he was making jokes and wishing that this had happened to me instead of him, sweet i know. But God truly had his hand over luke. The doctors realigned his teeth and sent him home, he has a splint on his top row and a couple fractures but is fine otherwise. So much worse could've happened.
But what amazed me even more was you all. And I want to thank you. My family was getting texts and calls like 20 minutes after we had told the first people what happened asking how luke was and telling us they were praying for him. You all passed it around like wildfire, I got a text at 4am asking how luke was and letting me know her family and her best friend's family had spent almost the last hour praying for my brother's health. That blew me away, but that's the thing; why did that seem so amazing? We say we're a family, but 90% of the time we don't act like it. I'm eternally grateful for the mad support, but how bout we try and show that to each other everyday of our lives? I love you guys and I wish the best for you all.

First blog on the eve of my birthday!!!
So this is my first blog since I was like 16 on livejournal, hopefully the things I have to say on here will have much more worth than what I had to say back then. I'll try and update this thing atleast 2-3 times a month. So as some of you reading must be bored to follow me on here I'll try and deliver some entertainment. On to my thoughts....
So my year has been pretty crazy so far, taking a full load at school with three of those classes online and than working my job at Rigazzi's and the internship up at church(which is how I got suckered into being in charge of this website). It's so hectic but i'm still loving it. Trying to keep caught up and somehow i'm succeeding. I'm learning a lot about about grace and servitude right now. God loves to keep me humble and I love that He does, think about it, how awesome is it that we have a God who cares about every minuscule detail in our lives.
I'll take this part of my blog to review some things, Glee tonight, the spirituality episode, made me laugh with the grilled Chesus,(a grilled cheese with Jesus' face on it); but made me sad that they showed Christians to be so weak. Personally if people were bashing christianity I wouldn't just step back and say, "hey you believe what you want it's cool," I'd stand up and defend my God. That's part of what we're called to do right?!
Well that's all for now kiddo's nothing super exciting but this was my first try, also it's my birthday in like 2 hours, you know what that means!?!? That's right, waffles, pajamafy, and video games.
Take it easy everyone.
